Nittany Lions Support THON & Four Diamonds Through NFL’s ‘My Cause, My Cleats’ Initiative

THON cleats are back in the NFL, folks.

The ‘My Cause, My Cleats’ initiative returned for another season, which allows players to wear specially designed cleats to support charitable causes. Once again, former Penn State football players represented THON on their shoes.

Trace McSorley, Nick Scott, Yetur Gross-Matos, and Cam Brown wore THON-themed cleats during week 13 of the NFL season. The cleats will be auctioned off, and all proceeds will go toward THON and Four Diamonds, the charity’s sole beneficiary.

McSorley Scott, Gross-Matos, and Brown are just a few of several Nittany Lions who have raised money for THON over the years through the initiative. Others like Mike Gesicki and Carl Nassib have supported THON and Four Diamonds in the past with specially designed cleats.

Many NFL players’ cleats are already up for auction or will be in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes out for this year’s THON-edition kicks.
