State Theatre To Host Political Song-A-Palooza April 20
A Penn State University Libraries-sponsored event, Political Song-a-Palooza, is set to showcase live on Thursday, April 20, at the State Theatre.
Placing an emphasis on all types of political or protest music — new, old, or original — the event is seeking Penn State students, staff, and faculty to audition and help bring political dialogue to the forefront through music.
The show will include a range of performance styles, such as spoken word artists, bands, soloists, and more to highlight various cultures, movements, and time periods that have influenced world politics today.
Auditions are accepted in the form of audio and video files and can be emailed to the event’s official email (psap2023@gmail.com) until Sunday, January 29.
