Penn State Wideout Jaden Dottin Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State wide receiver Jaden Dottin has entered the NCAA transfer portal with three years of eligibility remaining, he announced via Twitter on Wednesday.

The announcement comes just hours after Penn State football picked up its second wide receiver out of the transfer portal, Malik McClain.

Dottin came to Penn State in 2020 after committing in June of the prior year. He was a highly-touted prospect with a four-star ranking out of high school. Dottin selected the Nittany Lions over Michigan, Michigan State, and Pitt, among other programs.

Despite his success in high school, Dottin could never break into the Penn State squad. He appeared and started in one game this season. Additionally, he appeared in just one game during his true freshman season and three games the following year.

He recorded two catches against Ohio in the 2022 season for a total of 14 yards.

Dottin joins cornerback Marquis Wilson and running back Keyvone Lee as the latest Penn State football player to enter the transfer portal. Christian VeilleuxRodney McGraw, and Fatorma Mulbah already announced their next destinations, while others like Jamari Buddin remain in the portal.
