Lavender Graduation Applications Now Open
Penn State’s Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity has opened applications for the 22nd annual Lavender Graduation, which will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 14, in Heritage Hall in the HUB.
Lavender Graduation recognizes Penn State’s LGBTQ+ community and honors its members for their achievements and contributions to the university. This year’s event will be held during Blue-White Weekend.
The ceremony is open to spring, summer, and fall 2023 undergraduate and graduate students. You can register for the event here.
Anyone is welcome to attend as an audience member — whether you know a graduate or just want to support the graduates as a whole.
Graduates will receive a rainbow tassel, stole, and graduation certificate. Numerous students will earn scholarships for their contributions and achievements.
