Penn State’s on-campus student food bank, The Lion’s Pantry, announced its operational hours for the spring semester.

Its hours are as follows:

• Monday: 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: closed

Hours are subject to change due to campus closures and other potential circumstances. Updates can be found on The Lion’s Pantry’s Instagram and Facebook.

The Lion’s Pantry is led by students, for students. Since its creation in 2014, the organization works towards alleviating food insecurity at Penn State by offering free food, household supplies, and a community for students who need it. Through generous donations from the Penn State community, the Lion’s Pantry provides these resources for students with a valid Penn State ID.

On weekdays, students can use the campus shuttle for transportation to the Lion’s Pantry’s facilities on Big Hollow Road. The pantry also provides convenient Cub Pantries across campus.
