What To Do On The BJC’s Jumbotron At THON 2023

Just about everyone is entitled to their five seconds of fame at THON. Across 46 hours in the Bryce Jordan Center, the camera is sure to find almost everybody at least once.

Whether you’re on the floor or in the stands, here are some go-to’s for when you get on the big screen at THON.

Throw Up A Diamond

It’s an oldie but a goodie, and in the end, it’s the sole reason everyone is in the BJC. Show your support for Four Diamonds during your brief stint of glory.

Hug Your Friend

THON is spent better with a friend, and there’s no better way to show appreciation to a pal than to dish out a bear hug so everyone knows how close you truly are.

Hug your homies, folks. Spread the love.

Dance

Whether you’re just pumping your arms or boogie-ing down low, show off your moves for the BJC crown. Maybe you’ll even start a TikTok trend!

Dab

The haters say the dab is dead, but we believe otherwise (Editor’s Note: It’s dead). We here at Onward State are anxiously waiting to see if anyone will be a pioneer and dab on camera.

Say Hi To Your Friend On The Floor

Plenty of people are at THON to support friends that are dancing. Let your friends know that you’re there for them by just mouthing a simple “hello”!

Hold Up A Sign

Whether you’re with greek life or want to just hold a whiteboard with a nice, encouraging message, rep your crew! Let the people know why you’re at THON and what it means to you.

Sing

Maybe your favorite song is bumping, or maybe you’re just feeling the vibes. Whatever it may be, get excited and sing along! The best way to spread THON cheer is by singing loud for all to hear.
