Penn State Baseball Returns To PNC Park May 16

Penn State baseball will head to the Pittsburgh Pirates’ PNC Park on Tuesday, May 16, for a clash with Pitt, the team announced Wednesday morning.

This will mark the second year in a row the Nittany Lions will take on Pitt in the home of the Pirates.

This will be the 137th time the Nittany Lions play Pitt, with Penn State winning 89 of the matchups. Last year’s game featured a 19-6 Nittany Lion victory on the heels of a shocking 14-run ninth inning for Rob Cooper’s squad.

Tickets are available to alumni and students for $10 here. Students can access the deal by logging in with their student email, while alumni can access the deal by using code “NITTANYLION.”

Penn State baseball will play its home opener at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Next up is a matchup against Maine at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 24, in Cary, North Carolina. For the full Nittany Lion 2023 season schedule, click here.
