Penn State Men’s Hockey Stays Put At No. 10 In Latest USCHO Poll

Penn State men’s hockey remained at No. 10 in the weekly USCHO Poll in the final ranking of the regular season.

The USCHO’s decision to keep Penn State at No. 10 comes after the Nittany Lions split their final regular season series against Wisconsin. The Nittany Lions defeated Wisconsin 6-1 in game one but fell 2-1 in game two.

Also ranked in the Big Ten is No. 1 Minnesota, No. 4 Michigan, No. 9 Ohio State, No. 19 Notre Dame, and No. 20 Michigan State.

Penn State will head to Columbus to play Ohio State in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament in a best-of-three series. Game one is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, March 3, and game two is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 4. If necessary, puck drop for game three will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 5. The winner of the series will face either Wisconsin or Michigan in the next round.
