Four-Star Cornerback Kenneth Woseley II Commits To Penn State Football

The Class of 2024 is off to a hot start.

Kenneth Woseley II, a four-star cornerback in the Class of 2024, announced his verbal commitment to Penn State football Friday evening. Woseley is the fourth player to join the Nittany Lions in the newly minted recruiting cycle.

When Woseley announced his top four potential landing spots in February, the list exclusively consisted of Big Ten programs. Woseley selected Penn State over conference rivals Michigan, Nebraska, and Rutgers, among others.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Woseley sits as the nation’s No. 31 cornerback overall. The 5’11”, 170-pound cornerback is also ranked as Pennsylvania’s eighth-best prospect.

Woseley hails from Philadelphia, where he currently plays football for Imhotep Charter. Penn State has previously dipped into Imhotep’s pool of talent, most recently signing linebacker Keon Wylie in the Class of 2022. After making his announcement, Woseley specifically referenced Wylie as a contributing factor to his decision.

Woseley joins offensive lineman Cooper Cousins, linebacker Anthony Speca, and linebacker Kari Jackson as the team’s current commits in the Class of 2024. All four are ranked as four-star prospects.

With Woseley’s decision, Penn State’s Class of 2024 jumps to No. 17 in the national rankings, according to 247Sports. Although the Nittany Lions leapfrogged Ohio State and Michigan State, they still trail conference rivals Michigan and Iowa, which currently sit at No. 5 and No. 14, respectively.
