Taylor Stubblefield is on the move.

The former Penn State wide receivers coach was introduced by the Air Force Academy on Wednesday morning, just under two months after he was fired by Penn State.

This is Stubblefield’s second stint with the Falcons after he served as the team’s wide receivers coach for two years beginning in 2017.

Stubblefield spent three years at Penn State. He was hired as the wideouts coach prior to the 2020 season and took over as the offensive recruiting coordinator at the end of that season. He was released by the program in January 2023 and replaced shortly after by former Virginia wide receivers coach Marques Hagans.

During his time at Penn State, Stubblefield worked with Jahan Dotson, who was selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He also worked with Parker Washington throughout his entire collegiate career and Mitchell Tinsley during the wideout’s lone season in Happy Valley.

In 2020, Stubblefield helped Washington and KeAndre Lambert-Smith start as true freshmen, which was the first time the program had two true freshmen start at wide receiver in six years.

Stubblefield rejoins the Air Force Academy to work with a group that caught just eight touchdown passes and recorded under 1,000 receiving yards last season.
