Scrambling to get your ham for the Easter holiday? Well, you’re in luck! The Penn State Butcher Block is now taking orders for Easter hams.

There are four options available for the ham sale — a whole ham ranging from 15 to 22 pounds, a whole ham cut in half, a whole ham cut in half with three center slices (slices are three-fourths of an inch thick), and half a ham at around 8 to 11 pounds. The hams are fully cooked, smoked, and semi-boneless. 

The set price is listed as $2.49 per pound, and all orders should be sent to gmyers@psu.edu. There are a limited number of hams available, so it’s recommended to place orders as soon as possible.

The pick-up for the hams will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 7, at the Butcher Block. However, other pick-up times can be arranged if necessary. The Butcher Block is located between Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and Park Avenue on Porter Road.

The Penn State Butcher Block is a retail store run by the Penn State Meat Laboratory. Aside from the Easter ham sale, the store regularly sells meat products every Friday of the fall and spring semesters.
