‘Existence Is Pain’: Penn Staters Devastated Over Micah Shrewsberry’s Reported Move To Notre Dame
Pain.
After learning the news that Penn State men’s basketball head coach Micah Shrewsberry will reportedly head to South Bend, Indiana, to become Notre Dame’s next head coach, folks took to Twitter to express an assortment of emotions.
A few shared thoughts of well wishes, but most disclosed feelings of disappointment or resentment.
Many folks called upon Penn State Athletics and administration for an explanation regarding the specifics of the offer made to Shrewsberry and what it might’ve lacked compared to Notre Dame’s.
Other realists poked fun at the chokehold that Penn State football has on the community and that plenty of students will forget about Nittany Lion basketball a few days from now.
Still, the overwhelming feeling of sadness conquered all.
