After four years with Penn State women’s basketball, senior Anna Camden announced her intent to enter the transfer portal Wednesday afternoon.

Camden, a 6’3″ power forward, will enter the portal with one year of eligibility remaining.

“I cannot thank the community enough for how it has embraced me throughout these four years and will miss you all more than you could possibly understand,” Camden said on Twitter. “Every hug, high five, and smile will stay with me forever.”

Camden was recruited by former head coach Coquese Washington but stayed with the program when it was taken over by Carolyn Kieger. Beginning her freshman year, Camden remained a consistent contributor through four years in Happy Valley.

The Downingtown, Pennsylvania, native recorded eight starts through 30 appearances as a college basketball rookie, then solidified herself in the lineup for her remaining three years as a Nittany Lion.

Camden tallied 583 points throughout her career in the blue and white, 111 of which came from three-point land.

Camden joins fellow Lady Lion Ivane Tensaie in the transfer portal.
