Penn State APIDA Caucus To Host First-Ever Heritage Festival April 22
Penn State’s Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi-American (APIDA) Caucus is set to debut its State College Heritage Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza.
Attendance is free, and no prior registration is needed.
Attendees can look forward to performances from student organizations such as Fanaa, Penn State’s South Asian A Capella group, and R.A.M. Squad, a hip-hop dance team.
Local restaurants Koop, Teadori, Cafe Alina, and Big Bowl will provide catering for the event.
APIDA Caucus is one of three cultural caucuses on campus, along with the Black and Latino caucuses. Those interested can visit the organization’s website for more information.
