Report: Penn State Cornerback Storm Duck Enters Transfer Portal
Penn State football cornerback Storm Duck has reportedly entered the transfer portal, first reported by On3’s Sean Fitz.
Duck has one year of eligibility remaining after four seasons at North Carolina. The 6’0″, 200-pound cornerback announced his transfer to Penn State in December.
Duck has yet to suit up for the Nittany Lions in a regular-season game aside from this year’s Blue-White Game, where he registered one tackle.
At North Carolina, Duck recorded 46 tackles, three interceptions, and one forced fumble in his senior season en route to second-team All-ACC honors. Throughout his career in Chapel Hill, Duck tallied 103 tackles, five interceptions, and one defensive touchdown.
The cornerback is the second Nittany Lion to reportedly enter the transfer portal following the Blue-White Game. Offensive lineman Jimmy Christ entered the portal on April 16 and committed to Virginia four days later.
