Penn State Baseball’s Series Finale Against Iowa Canceled Due To Rain

Penn State baseball’s series finale against Iowa, which was scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, has been canceled due to rainy conditions.

Penn State originally had a game scheduled for Friday night, but that was moved to Saturday due to poor weather. The Nittany Lions split their doubleheader with the Hawkeyes, losing game one 9-6 and winning game two 8-4.

Rob Cooper’s team is scheduled for a three-game series against Rutgers next weekend with games on May 5, 6, and 7 in Piscataway. The Nittany Lions have one more home series this season against Maryland with games on May 18, 19, and 20.

The group is 24-15 overall and boasts a 6-8 conference record with three Big Ten opponents remaining on the schedule.
