Class Of 2024 Prospect Brock Weiss Commits To Penn State Wrestling
Penn State wrestling got another one.
Class of 2024 recruit Brock Weiss committed to Penn State wrestling on Monday, per an Instagram announcement.
Weiss competed at both 127 and 132 pounds in the 2022-23 season, according to FloWrestling, though he finished the season at the higher weight class. Most recently, he reached the Round of 16 competing at 65 kilograms in the U-17 freestyle division of the U.S. Open.
Weiss, a Lycoming, Pennsylvania, native, isn’t ranked in FloWrestling’s Top 100 wrestlers from the Class of 2024 but put together an impressive 102-11 record throughout his three years of high school wrestling.
While Weiss didn’t compete in a postseason in 2023, according to PA-Wrestling.com, he completed a stout run in 2022 that landed him a second-place finish at the state competition in the AA class.
Cael Sanderson’s latest commit joins an already impressive Class of 2024, which has already nabbed the No. 2, No. 5, and No. 6 wrestlers in the country in Luke Lilledahl, Joe Sealey, and Zack Ryder.
