Penn State Football Seemingly Lands Duke Transfer Addison Penn
It looks like James Franklin got another one.
It appears that offensive lineman Addison Penn has transferred to Penn State football from Duke. While Penn did not put up a commitment post, his profile pictures on Instagram and Twitter show him in a Penn State uniform, while his profile bio reads “Penn State” on both.
Penn comes to Happy Valley with three years of eligibility remaining in college football. He’s appeared in eight games in his collegiate career, with three of those appearances coming during the 2022 season.
The lineman announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal in early January 2023 but did not post any updates regarding his status since then.
The former three-star recruit committed to Duke as part of the Class of 2020 from Southlake Carroll High School in Texas. Penn seems destined to join a Nittany Lion offensive line room that is currently headlined by Olu Fashanu, Landon Tengwall, and Hunter Nourzad.
