Tussey Mountain WingFest To Begin June 22

Tussey Mountain’s annual WingFest is set to return for 2023, as the weekly contest will kick off on Thursday, June 22, for its 20th year.

On each Thursday for eight consecutive weeks, local restaurants will serve their best wings to try to earn attendees’ votes and reach the final round of the elimination-based competition. The event will also be supplemented by weekly bands, axe throwing, chairlift rides, go-karts, and mini golf.

For WingFest 2023, the competition will feature 2022 victor Juniper Village, as well as Valley Girl Co., Blonde Bistro, Federal Taphouse, and others. Each week features three competitors, and whichever receives the most votes at the end of the night will advance to the final week of competition for the chance to be crowned Wing King.

Admission to the event is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged seven to 16, while all kids aged six and under enter for free. Once attendees enter the venue, they can pay for a $1 amphitheater ticket, which allows them to purchase wings, drinks, and other items. All tickets must be purchased with cash only. WingFest gates will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. each week, and parking will be free.
