[Photo Story] Lift For Life 2023

Penn State football and Uplifting Athletes hosted the 20th annual Lift for Life Thursday afternoon to raise money and awareness toward rare diseases.

In the philanthropic event, James Franklin’s offense takes on the defense in a slate of strength-based challenges. Since Uplifting Athletes and the Nittany Lions joined forces in 2003, the organizations have raised over $1.4 million.

It was all smiles and grit at this year’s outing as Penn State football players lifted toward a cure. Participants pushed to notch every rep possible on the bench press.

Kids and fans got to show off their moves during drills with the Nittany Lions throughout the event.

Those in attendance got some quality interaction time with a handful of Nittany Lions, including quarterback Drew Allar.

Holuba Hall was brimming with selfies, signatures, and smiles.

The offensive and the defensive squads gave their all in the pursuit of fundraising and awareness toward the fight against rare diseases.
