Penn State To Host ‘Nittany Lion Fan Academy’ August 26
If you don’t know the third verse of the Alma Mater, the Nittany Lion Fan Academy is for you.
Penn State Athletics will host the inaugural Nittany Lion Fan Academy at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, at Beaver Stadium, to teach all Penn Staters important chants, cheers, and songs ahead of the fall sports season.

Students, community members, and children can attend the event, and Beaver Stadium’s Gate B will open at 1 p.m. for attendees. The first 5,000 folks in attendance will receive a free t-shirt, and shakers and posters will be available, too.
The Symbol of Our Best, the Nittany Lion, will help teach attendees the necessary gameday tunes, as well as the Penn State cheerleaders and Lionettes. James Franklin is also slated to make an appearance at Beaver Stadium.
The Nittany Lion Fan Academy is free to all fans.
