THON 2024 Captain Applications Now Open

THON 2024 captain applications are now open for active THON committee members.

All completed applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 24. Folks can begin applications and submit them here.

THON captains help lead the THON community and assist in planning and executing fundraising events throughout the year. There are 16 committees within THON that applicants can captain, including communications, dancer relations, merchandise, finance, and more. Descriptions of each committee can be found here.

The application itself requires a resumé, two references, and a handful of questions about why you’d be a good THON captain. Applicants also list their top-three committee preferences, too.

“Serving as a Captain is a very rewarding experience, and you will make an impact in the lives of children, families, students, and donors, no matter the position,” the application reads.

THON 2024’s fundraising window began on July 1 and kicked off its third annual “Ignite the Fight” campaign. THON Weekend is slated for February 16 to 18
