Penn State Women’s Volleyball Falls Three Spots To No. 16 In AVCA Poll
Penn State women’s volleyball fell to No. 16 on the weekly AVCA poll Monday. The group was ranked No. 13 in last week’s poll.

The Nittany Lions went 1-1 this weekend during their road trip to Michigan, which included a 3-1 win over the Wolverines and a devastating 2-3 loss to the Spartans the following night.
In its victory over Michigan, Penn State was led by Camryn Hannah with 20 kills and Mac Podraza with 46 assists. Gillian Grimes also contributed 13 digs from her libero position in the winning effort from the Nittany Lions.
However, Penn State blew its lead over Michigan State in East Lansing the next day. The Nittany Lions surprisingly lost the kill, dig, and assist battle en route to a .135 hitting percentage against the Spartans.
The Nittany Lions will aim to get back on track against highly-touted, undefeated No. 1 Nebraska at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, November 3, in Rec Hall for their annual Wear White match.
