What Dish Would Famous Penn Staters Bring To Thanksgiving Dinner?

Thanksgiving is a time when family, friends, and fellow Penn Staters can come together to enjoy a delicious meal. With the holiday rolling in quickly, we’re starting to fantasize about our favorite Thanksgiving dishes that we’ll devour in just a day’s time.

While we may have our favorites, our curiosity got the best of us, and we posed the question: what dish would famous Penn Staters bring to Thanksgiving dinner?

We compiled a list of what we think our favorite Penn State faces would bring to the table.

Kaytron Allen & Nick Singleton

Turkey. These guys are bringing pure protein. Whether they want it smoked, deep fried, or spatchcock-style, they would trot that turkey all the way from the end zone to the dinner table. Plus, these guys need to fuel up to bring home the Land-Grant Trophy on Friday.

Mike Rhoades

Mashed potatoes. Judging by the way he whips up plays, Mike Rhoades’ recipe has got to be good.

James Franklin

Apple pie. James Franklin just looks like an apple pie kind of dude. We already know he has probably studied the Betty Crocker playbook. I mean, who hasn’t?

The Nittany Lion

Cranberry sauce. The lion can be pretty saucy on game days, so what else would this icon bring? After all, the lion is the cranberry sauce on top at every event.

Neeli Bendapudi

Sweet potatoes. President Bendapudi is as sweet as her potatoes would be.

Myles Dread

Rolls. Myles Dread has been on a roll with his commentating this basketball season. With his own history in the program, we imagine he would toss those rolls in a basket and serve them up hot.

Chop Robinson & Abdul Carter

Stuffing. We all see how they stuff opponents on the field so it’s only appropriate they bring the stuffing to the table.

Keeley Lamm

Gravy. There’s no other person we want to lead the gravy train than Onward State’s fearless leader.
