SPA To Host Dylan Mulvaney Lecture December 5

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) will host actress and social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney for a moderated conversation and question-and-answer session at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, in the HUB’s Alumni Hall.

Mulvaney’s first major acting role was Elder White in the “Book of Mormon” Broadway musical, which kickstarted her career. She began making TikTok content in March 2022 with her “Days of Girlhood” series that documented her gender transition and garnered nearly a billion views online.

Since then, Mulvaney has been invited to the White House to speak with President Joe Biden about transgender rights and has continued to use her platform for activism and awareness of transgender issues.

Mulvaney has received numerous awards for her use of her following, including being featured on Rolling Stone’s creator list, and Fast Company’s Queer 50 list.

Tickets for the event will be available at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 1, through OrgCentral.
