Penn State Football Experiences Personnel Movement In Analyst Positions

Penn State football reportedly experienced a pair of personnel changes Monday, as analyst Ola Adams reportedly took a job as Indiana’s defensive backs and safeties coach, according to Pete Thamel, while Kansas analyst Bill Queisert joined Penn State as an analyst, per Greg Pickel.

Penn State hired Adams in May after he had stints as the Denver Broncos’ assistant defensive backs coach and Villanova defensive coordinator. During Adams’ time with the Nittany Lions, Manny Diaz’s defense put together some of the best numbers in the country and was rated No. 1 in total defense and No. 3 in scoring defense.

Penn State brought in Queisert to join new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki, whom Queisert served under at Kansas. Queisert has been described as Kotelnicki’s right hand, though his official role was an offensive analyst position. Queisert described his role at Kansas as to “act as right hand for the Offensive Coordinator and assist in the Coaching of Tight Ends and Offensive Line, in conjunction with the development of the offensive unit,” according to his LinkedIn.

Queisert is the first reported change to Penn State’s offensive staff since Kotelnicki’s announced hiring on Friday. Queisert has previously spent time coaching with Arkansas State, Simpson College, Missouri State, and William Jewell College.
