Tulsa Place Kicker Chase Meyer Transfers To Penn State Football
Penn State football has its next likely kicker, folks.
Tulsa place kicker Chase Meyer announced his verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions on Sunday on Twitter. Meyer will arrive in Happy Valley with two seasons of eligibility and a redshirt year.

Meyer is a sophomore from Costa Mesa, California. He didn’t see action in 2022 while he was at Penn, but he then transferred to the Golden Hurricane program where he took over kicking duties this past season. He went 17 for 20 in field goal attempts and recorded a 47-yard long.
Meyer entered the transfer portal on December 4, and he reportedly visited Happy Valley last week. He joins the program following Alex Felkins’ looming departure, and redshirt sophomore Sander Sahaydak remains in the special teams conversation.
Meyer joins offensive tackle Alan Herron as the second player so far to transfer to Penn State this offseason.
