On-Campus Edge Locations Launch Coffee Loyalty Program

The Edge coffee bar, located in all on-campus dining commons, launched a coffee loyalty program Sunday, allowing students to earn a free beverage after nine purchases.

Students can utilize a punch card to keep track of purchases, and the complimentary beverage is free, regardless of modifications, add-ins, or other changes.

“Feedback is important to us, and, in the fall, many student leaders expressed a desire for a coffee loyalty program at our Edge locations,” Penn State Residential Dining Director Jim Meinecke told Onward State.

Additionally, Residential Dining is looking into more options to “continually elevate [the] coffee stations.”

Edge locations are found in Findlay, Redifer, Warnock, Waring, and Pollock Commons, and offer Starbucks beverage products, including coffee, tea, refreshers, and more. The coffee bars sell Penn State Bakery items, like donuts, bread, and scones, too.
