‘Entrepreneur-Chip Monkey Business’ To Join Creamery Lineup Beginning In February

Entrepreneurship sure is sweet.

The Penn State Berkey Creamery announced the latest addition to its sweet list of flavor options: “Entrepreneur-chip Money Business.” The flavor is a rename of an existing Berkey Creamery flavor in honor of the arrival of Penn State Startup Week throughout the month of March.

The new flavor will arrive ahead of Startup Week so folks can get their Entrepreneur-chip fix, debuting on Thursday, February 1, and running throughout March.

“Penn State Startup Week sponsoring a Berkey Creamery ice cream flavor isn’t just about indulging in delicious treats; it’s a scoop of support for entrepreneurship, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of our student community,” Ashley Palmer, marketing and communications director for Startup Week, said in a release. “Through the universal joy of ice cream, we’re bringing awareness to the exciting Startup Week events, where ideas flourish, connections are made, and dreams are churned into reality.”

Those interested may also swing by any of Startup Week’s events held in the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub to get their hands on the newly renamed flavor beginning Monday, March 18, to Friday, March 22

This isn’t the first time that the creamery has unveiled new names for its flavors. In May, the Creamery introduced “Bellisario College Chocolate Pretzel Crunch” to celebrate graduating students and Vivienne Bellisario’s recognition as an honorary alumnus. Other flavors have also included special recognition for Homecoming and Penn State Global, too.

“We are thrilled to add the ‘Entrepreneur-chip’ flavor to our line-up this spring,” Berkey Creamery Manager of Sales and Marketing Jim Brown said. “This first-time Monkey Business flavor collaboration adds a delightful twist to our rich tradition, and we appreciate Startup Week’s support in making the Creamery student experience even sweeter.”

The new flavor will be available for purchase at the creamery’s retail store and on its website. Folks can learn more about the Startup Week schedule and register for events here.
