Penn State Horticulture Club To Host Annual Valentine’s Day Rose Sale

Are you scrambling to get roses for your special someone in time for Valentine’s Day? Well, you’re in luck!

The Penn State Horticulture Club is hosting its annual rose sale just in time for Love Day festivities.

A general sale will take place on Tuesday, February 13, and Wednesday, February 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at table two in the HUB. Customers will have the option to purchase a single carnation with filler and bow for $3 or a single rose with filler and a bow for $6. There will also be other vase-arranged florals for $15 and a half-dozen roses wrapped for $20. Cash, check, and Venmo will all be accepted.

In addition to the general sale at the HUB, ornate bouquet arrangements will also be available. Pre-orders for the fancier option must be placed by Friday, February 9, and the link to the online form can be found here

In terms of pricing for the bouquets, a dozen roses are $75 and a half dozen roses are $55, each arranged in a vase with a bow. Bouquets can be picked up from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 12, in Headhouse II, which is the greenhouse across from the creamery.

Payments can be made upon pick up and should be in cash or check only. All checks should be made out to the Penn State Horticulture Club.
