State College Once Again Declared ‘City Of THON’
State College Mayor Ezra Nanes once again declared State College the “City of THON” for the 46 hours dancers will stand in the Bryce Jordan Center between February 16 to 18.
This is the 10th time the State College borough will change its name to honor THON. The tradition was started by former State College Mayor Elizabeth Goreham in 2015.
(@pennstatethon)Nanes issued the proclamation Monday night at the Borough Council meeting. State College will become the City of THON beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 16, and extend until 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 18.
The annual dancer marathon kicks off on Friday, February 16, at the Bryce Jordan Center.
