Class Of 2025 Four-Star Linebacker Dayshaun Burnett Commits To Penn State Football
Class of 2025 four-star linebacker Dayshaun Burnett has committed to Penn State football, he announced Wednesday. Burnett is the 10th commitment the Nittany Lions have picked up in his recruiting class.
Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Burnett is rated as the 13th-best player in his home state and the No. 39 linebacker in the nation, via the 247Sports Composite. He’s the fourth player of the top 15 in Pennsylvania to commit to the Nittany Lions, following linebacker Alex Tatsch, tight end Brady O’Hara, and running back Tiqwai Hayes.
Before Burnett’s commitment, the Nittany Lions held the 6th-ranked recruiting Class of 2025 in the country. The group is led by DJ McClary, Kiandrea Barker, and Tatsch, per the 247Sports Composite.
