THON 2024 Raises $16,955,683.63 For The Kids
After dancers kicked back after 46 hours on their feet in the Bryce Jordan Center, THON 2024 revealed it raised $16,955,683.63 For The Kids!
The total breaks THON’s yearly record for the third consecutive year. Last year, THON 2023 raised $15,006,132.46.
This year, 708 dancers entered the Bryce Jordan Center and endured a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon in the fight against pediatric cancer. A year’s worth of fundraising efforts culminated with millions of dollars raised for Four Diamonds.
Since the beginning of Four Diamonds and THON’s partnership in 1977, the pair has raised over $215 million, which doesn’t include this year’s fundraising. Each year, Penn State students will continue to dance For The Kids until we can dance in celebration of a cure.
