Penn State Homecoming 2024 Scheduled For Illinois Weekend
Penn State Homecoming 2024 is on the books.
Penn State Homecoming revealed the annual celebration will begin on Sunday, September 22, and run through Saturday, September 28. The weeklong festivities will coincide with Penn State football’s Big Ten-opening dual with Illinois on Saturday, September 28, in Beaver Stadium.
The kickoff times for the Nittany Lions’ 2024 season slate have not been announced, though Homecoming games often kick off at noon or 3:30 p.m.
The annual Homecoming Parade is likely set for Friday, September 27, ahead of the weekend football game. More details regarding Homecoming events, like the Allen Street Jam and the Guarding of the Lion Shrine, will be revealed closer to September.
This year’s theme, “In Every Roar, Tradition Soars,” was revealed at THON Weekend. Should history repeat itself, the Homecoming theme will likely be released at the Blue-White Game, slated for 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.
