Penn State Dining To Offer Ramadan Meal Service

Every year on the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, Muslims around the world and at Penn State begin fasting for Ramadan. Penn State Dining is offering a meal service for those practicing throughout the duration of Ramadan from March 10 through April 9.

Every morning before dawn, Suhoor is served before the fasting day begins.

Students can preorder meals to be picked up from the Pollock Dining Commons. Orders must be placed by 4 p.m. on the day of pick-up and must be picked up between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The weekly menu features plenty of high-fiber food to keep folks full throughout the day. Some examples include oatmeal, Ful Mudammas, hummus and pita chips, hard-boiled eggs, fruit cups, and a variety of drink options.

For more information on the food service accommodation, visit the campus dining website or check out the post above.
