Penn State Softball’s Tuesday Game Against Pitt Postponed
Penn State softball’s game against Pitt on Tuesday, March 19, has been postponed to Tuesday, April 16, due to cold weather in Pittsburgh, the team announced Monday. Both teams mutually agreed to postpone the game.
Due to a CHILLY wind chill forecasted in the Steel City tomorrow, PSU and Pitt have mutually agreed to postpone our midweek contest to April 16

Penn State is coming off five straight wins in the Penn State Softball Invitational, where the Nittany Lions defeated Lehigh twice, as well as Cornell, Canius, and Bridgehampton. Penn State scored 51 runs over the five-game series.
The Nittany Lions begin Big Ten conference play in a three-game series against Indiana starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 22, at home. Penn State will also face Indiana at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, and noon on Sunday, March 24.
