Class of 2025 four-star cornerback Daryus Dixson has committed to Penn State football, he announced Monday. Dixson became the first player to announce his commitment to the Nittany Lions during official visit season.

A native of Santa Ana, California, Dixson is rated as the No. 11 player in his home state and the 10th-best cornerback in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Dixson is also rated as the No. 90 overall player in the country. With his commitment, Dixson became the highest-rated player in Penn State’s recruiting Class of 2025, beating out running back commit Alvin Henderson.
