Penn State Football Adds Walk-On Offensive Lineman Mason Carlan To Roster

Penn State football has added offensive lineman transfer Mason Carlan from the Air Force Academy to its roster. Carlan announced his transfer to the Nittany Lions in May.

Carlan began playing for Air Force in 2020 but didn’t see any action until the 2022 season. Carlan made five appearances in 2022 on an offensive line regarded as one of the nation’s best and appeared in all of Air Force’s games in 2023.

Carlan does not yet have a number and is listed at 6’2″, 295 pounds on Penn State’s roster.
