Three-Star Athlete Caleb Cooper Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 three-star athlete Caleb Cooper has committed to Penn State football, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native is tabbed as the No. 30 player in the state and No. 66 athlete in the Class of 2027, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. The Providence Day School product is primarily listed as a defensive back and running back on his MaxPreps profile, with most of his reps coming in the secondary. He racked up 160 total tackles, seven tackles-for-loss, and one interception in his last two years of varsity ball.

Cooper committed to Penn State fresh off his official visit. He picked the Nittany Lions over Wisconsin and Virginia Tech. He is Deon Broomfield’s second commit for Penn State, joining three-star safety Jonathan Galette.
