Penn State-Minnesota Scheduled For 7 P.M. Or 7:30 P.M. Kickoff

The Nittany Lions are back in primetime.

Penn State football’s November 14 matchup with Minnesota is set for either 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. kickoff, the team announced Monday.

The two teams last met in 2024, when the Nittany Lions pulled off a thrilling 26-25 win over the Golden Gophers. Penn State iced the game on a 7-play, 57-yard drive that included three fourth-down conversions and a fake punt.

The Nittany Lions clawed back to .500 on the season following Matt Campbell’s first Big Ten win against Purdue in Week 9. Penn State rode a Cam Wallace masterclass and effective rushing from Carson Hansen in the 31-17 contest. The Nittany Lions will take on Washington in Week 10.

Minnesota is 5-3 on the season and 3-2 in conference play, most recently losing an overtime affair to Indiana on Halloween. The Golden Gophers hold wins over Washington, Michigan, and Iowa. They will battle No. 5 UCLA on Saturday.

Penn State is 11-6 all-time against Minnesota. It will be the Golden Gophers’ first time in Happy Valley since the 2022 White Out, when the Nittany Lions dismantled them 45-17.
