Penn State Women’s Soccer Rises To No. 21 In United Soccer Coaches Poll
Penn State women’s soccer jumped to No. 21 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, the association announced Tuesday.
The Nittany Lions’ rise marks a two-spot jump to No. 21 from No. 23 after entering the poll last week from unranked.
The rise comes as Penn State wraps up its regular season with an unbeaten streak of four games. The Nittany Lions took down Indiana 4-0 on October 30 in the final game of the season.
With the regular season done, the Nittany Lions turn to the Big Ten tournament matchup in St. Louis on November 5 against No. 16 Purdue.
Penn State earned the No. 6 seed for the tournament, finishing the regular season 7-2-3 in the Big Ten.
