Operating Hours Shift During Thanksgiving Break

Operating hours will change throughout campus for Thanksgiving break.

Residence halls will close Saturday Nov. 20 at noon and will reopen Saturday Nov. 27 at 8 a.m. so that students may get settled in time for the game against MSU.

Police on the Lookout After Indecent Exposure Incidents

Two exposure incidents last week have University Park police placing older indecent exposure cases at the top of their list. A man, described as college-aged with light-skinned with dark hair, wearing a ski mask, exposed himself at around 3 a.m. in the Food Sciences building on November 1, and a man of similar description flashed a female student around 11:30 p.m. on November 4 inside the Patterson Building. These come on the heels of an equally-perverted crime in Simmons Hall, where a man was videotaping girls showering.

PLA Students to Present Findings on College Drinking to Officials

The Presidential Leadership Academy is presenting their findings on high-risk college drinking to the leaders of State College this Wednesday, November 10th. The meeting, which is an open event, will take place in room 304 of the State College Borough Building, 243 S. Allen St. at 7pm. State College Mayor Elizabeth Goreham, borough manager Tom Fontaine, borough council president Ron Filippelli, and State College police chief Tom King will all be in attendance.

SRCC To Hold 46-Hour Weekend Bake Sale

The Student Red Cross Club is holding a 46-hour Bake Sale this weekend to benefit THON. You’ll be able to satiate your sweet tooth from 6 p.m. on Friday, November 5 nonstop until 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 7 outside Cold Stone Creamery on E. Beaver Ave.

Penn State 2011 Senior Class Gift Revealed

The winning entry in the voting for the Penn State 2011 Senior Class Gift was a plaza dedicated to Lt. Michael P. Murphy and other Penn State veterans. More than 3000 Penn State seniors voted in the poll.

The plaza, which will be the 150th senior class gift, was revealed this morning at a celebration in the HUB, complete with cakes, t-shirts, and distinguished guests.
