In the second committee meeting of the morning, the Finance, Business, and Capital Planning recommended the approval of a $155 (3.05 percent) room and board semester increase for next year. The committee also recommended the approval of a $235,000 increase in the operating budget of the White Building, Rec Hall, and the Natatorium.

A 66 year old man was killed while crossing the street on Wednesday night on East Park Ave. The State College Police are investigating the fatal pedestrian crash, which occurred at 6:50 p.m. at the intersection with McKee St.
