Back By Popular Demand: A Visit From State Patrick

A year ago, I was challenged to come up with a poem about State Patty's Day to which I said, "Challenge accepted". A Visit From State Patrick was born and posted the day before State Patty's 2011. Now, with popular demand wanting it to be republished, I present it to you again. We would just republish the old story, but the poem was printed onto a picture which was lost when we switched servers. It is important to note that this is NOT AN ENDORSEMENT of State Patty's Day. I wrote the poem and I wish the "holiday" would die once and for all. That should quell any fears of the editorial staff being hypocrites as it pertains to SPD.

Onward State Publisher Is Son of President Spanier, Report Finds

Turns out that Onward State publisher and founder, Davis Shaver, has more in common with President Spanier than a passion for Penn State--a lot more. The information, revealed by the Daily Collegian, reportedly used genealogy sites and Woodward-and Bernstein-esque investigative reporting to come to this astounding conclusion.
