Last night, Penn State Men's Basketball (@PennStateMBB) overcame 17 turnovers and 21 missed three-point attempts on its way to a 65-58 season opener win over the St. Francis (PA) Red Flash. Suffice to say, this game wasn't pretty at all, but the Nittany Lions showed promise in a few key areas, especially in getting to the free throw line.

Women’s Volleyball Dominates Illinois

Penn State increased their home winning streak to 20 games, as they quickly disposed of the Illini on Thursday, three sets to none. Deja McClendon had 11 kills to lead the team, and Katie Slay had 5 blocks. Freshman Kendall Pierce had two aces, and deserves a special shoutout for holding serve for a 14-point run in the third set.

It’s finally here. College basketball season is upon us. Tonight Penn State will open their season at the Bryce Jordan Center against St. Francis. It is the second year under Pat Chambers and the program should take some significant strides forward this season.
