McDaniel was the Big Ten's second-best scorer during the 2019-2020 season.

The wide receiver will move to New York on a one-year deal after a one-year stint with the Carolina Panthers.

"We cannot now, at this point, have fall NCAA championships because there's not enough schools participating."

To date, the university has administered 560 coronavirus tests and reported eight total positives.

"The Big Ten's decision to postpone fall sports is one we have been dreading, but it was made in the best interest of the health and safety of our student-athletes."
