I though that after the high school years, striking banality would be a thing of the past. But Happy Valley has its fair share of randomness. Here is a list of some iffy things I've done while at Penn State.
It was a long, boring weekend in lonely Happy Valley as the majority of Penn Staters went out with their respective orgs and committees for the second canning weekend. So I was beyond thrilled to end this dry weekend by pulling on the typical flannel-and-boots combination and hopping aboard a wagon full of hay with some secretly inebriated college folk.
The College of Communications and School of Theatre are partnering to present Penn State's own sitcom, "304". A premiere screening is scheduled for Sunday, November 4th. More info after the jump.
Halloween is upon us, and that means college students everywhere are figuring out what they're going to dress up as. A lot goes into this decision, but before you finalize your outfit here's a few things that you don't want to do.
PSU Votes will be hosting a screening for the final presidential debate, focusing on foreign policy, in the HUB tonight, with a discussion hosted by Sociology professor Sam Richards after the screening. As an added bonus, students who attend will get a chance to write the headline for the story that will accompany the article about the debate that will be picked by Onward State staffers.
After being at Penn State for seven weeks, I've explored most of campus. However, one place remained a mystery to me: the third floor of the Hub. When I finally made it up there, my predictions of what it held were nothing like its reality.
