Planet Fitness will donate $42 to THON for every shot Penn State men's basketball blocks at the Bryce Jordan Center this season.
The Penn State bookstore created an official teddy bear ahead of the hockey team's Teddy Bear Toss game on December 8.
Safety issues with students traveling was the reason behind the cancellation of these fundraising activities -- with THON reporting three different car accidents in the past month involving student volunteers on fundraising trips.
"I THON because this indescribable feeling of connection, hope and solidarity; it exists. It lives and breathes far beyond 46 hours."
The HUB was filled with students volunteering for committees and organizations to complete the week-long fundraising event, the One Day Campaign.
If the THON 2019 fundraising total remains on par with the funds raised in 2018, the One Day campaign will be responsible for about 5 percent of the total.
