
THON is just around the corner. Although many other organizations have had an overwhelmingly powerful impact on the event, you can't deny that Greek Life has had a huge presence from the very beginning. Greek Life and THON, were soul mates -- they were meant to be together. But might the story of Greek Life and THON at Penn State be slowly coming to an end?

As a PSU student, it is impossible to think about PSU and not think of THON, so why is it so hard to explain to others?

This year on Valentine's Day, while you are treating your significant other to a nice dinner, or if they're not so lucky, dollar dog night, The Hope Express will be setting off for sixth straight year on two long journeys FTK.

The THON 2013 dancer list has finally been released, with a record number 710 dancers participating in this year's dance marathon. Check out the list below to search for your friends.

In just 11 days, a record 710 participants will dance in THON 2013 -- two more than the usual 708 due to an inconsistency in the rulebook and the dancer registration packet. Traditionally, 708 lucky dancers are selected every year to stand for the 46-hours on the Bryce Jordan Center floor. That number -- along with multiple THON volunteers, friends, Four Diamonds children, and media -- is a number THON has determined to be the safest given capacity limits.

Many of you are familiar with Emily Whitehead, a THON child, who recently was the first child to receive a CART-19 T-Cell transplant. Since the procedure, Emily has significantly recovered. Savannah Smith, a communications student here at Penn State, recently put together a multimedia video focusing on Emily's miraculous turnaround.
