THON Removes Official Name from Canning Materials

Last week, THON announced that it would be updating its canning materials to make them more immediately recognizable to the general public.

What THON didn't announce at the time was that it also removed the organization's official name from canning materials.

Recap of Sunday’s THON Meeting

In an effort to appease the recent debates about the internal decision making process that is taken by the 15 members of the Penn State Dance Marathon's Overall Committee, Interfraternity Council President Max Wendkos invited student leaders within THON to meet for a discussion forum last night.


The meeting lasted over two hours and brought together THON leadership and organization presidents to discuss recent decisions made by the overall committee and how they will affect organizations participating in the event.

IFC President Calls Emergency THON Meeting

Max Wendkos, president of the Interfraternity Council, sent out an email Saturday urging all leaders of Penn State student organizations to attend an emergency meeting at the Delta Upsilon fraternity house regarding the recent changes made to the THON rulebook.

Independent THON BBQ Held Yesterday

A few special interest THON orgs met at Central Parklet today. Dan Levy of Atlas said the idea behind the picnic was for all the independent THON groups to meet up after a summer away.
